Where Coachero is different
MyFitnessPal is a nutrition app first: exercise goes in mostly as calories burned. Coachero treats training and food as one record. Sets, reps and weights sit next to meals, sleep and steps, and the coach reads all of it, so it can say your bench has stalled in a week your protein ran short.
It also writes the training. Tap once for today's session, built from your last few weeks with a weight for every set, or build a full 4 to 24 week plan around your days, equipment and experience. Both are on the free plan.
Where MyFitnessPal is stronger
It has been around far longer, and its food database is one of the largest anywhere. It also connects to more devices and apps. If you only want to count calories and your wearable already syncs to it, it does that job well.
What Pro adds in Coachero
Higher daily limits on the coaching features, the weekly digest (your first two are free), the long-form fitness profile, and importing plans and workouts from a file or a photo. Logging stays free either way.
MyFitnessPal details are as of October 2026 and come from its published plan information; plans and prices change, so check myfitnesspal.com for the current terms. MyFitnessPal is a trademark of its owner. Coachero is not affiliated with it.
